This Week's Quotation:
You are ready to step into your role as a leader, mentor, and guide, simply ready to inspire change by being fully who you were born to be, knowing that your personal transformation is our collective evolution, and your embodied expression leads to global impact.
— Julie Krull, “Imaginal Souls”
World Service Made Easy
I think too many of us tend to underestimate the power we individually have to bring about global change, but as Julie brings out, our personal transformation contributes to collective evolution and our expression in life can have global impact. This opens the door to the regeneration of humanity and the planetary transformation that we are all longing for.

Jerry Kvasnicka, Wired for Love
At a very young age I devoted my life to this vision of world service. I knew I was here to serve this high purpose, responding to what I perceived to be the command of the Creator rising up within me. Initially, I thought this meant that I needed to personally contact as many people as possible, inspire them with my vision and enlist them in manifesting it.
So with the fervor of a spiritual evangelist, I personally contacted as many people as I could, spoke at large gatherings, wrote article after article for various publications, developed a radio series that was distributed nationwide, and wrote a couple of books. And though there has been some response as a result of my efforts, it can be somewhat exhausting and hardly makes a dent in the world population. Besides, as a wise spiritual mentor of mine observed, we’re not here “to lay a trip on anyone.”
There is an easier way. And consciousness is the key. Just “by being fully who you were born to be” and “your embodied expression,” as Julie writes, you can have “global impact.” My consciousness and your consciousness are connected to the consciousness of every living being on the planet. And what is happening on Earth is merely a reflection of what is present in human consciousness.
So if we put something right and beautiful, i.e., the transcendent Truth of Love that we are, into our consciousness, it is conveyed into the mass consciousness of humanity and begins to rise up from there to eventually penetrate the heart and conscious levels of understanding of human beings everywhere, preparing the way for world transformation. How simple and easy, just be who you Divinely are and the work is done!
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
