This Week's Quotation:
Let me be embraced with the love by which the whole of creation is moved. The very essence with which all things are held together, dependent yet independent, whole yet individuated. In which all are my relatives.
~ Native American Prayer
At 16 years of age, I learned that my paternal great-grandmother was Shawnee. As a result, I spent many years investigating and getting in touch with my Native American roots. This prayer is a takeaway and one I say daily. It's a great reminder of our unity and to Be Love.
Love is more than a feeling or emotion—it is our state of being. I am, you are, the abiding spirit of Love. Whole. Holy. A vehicle for love's manifestation in the world.
We are all Love discovering its unique expressions while pioneering new love trails in our polarized world. Why the duality? Love is opening our hearts to all possibilities so that we remember we are an irresistible force of Love that knows no bounds. No exceptions, no conditions—Love sees beyond fear and form.
As the energy of Love continues to grow stronger in our world, the shadows of fear become more visible. We just need to remember that we are alchemists able to transform the energy of fear and forgetting into the energy of love. Whenever we are able to love without expectations, agendas, or judgments, we are indeed Being Love.
Our task is to use every experience, regardless of how the world labels it, as a tool for introspection to help us find those pieces of Love within us. The entire universe is predicated on love creating itself.
So love everything! Whatever presents itself to you, see it in the great cosmic grace of things. When it comes to giving love, the opportunities are unlimited and we are all gifted. Hallelujah! We are all on a sacred journey to be the expression of one great Infinite Love Intelligence.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
