This Week's Quotation:
"Behold, I make all things new."
~ Revelation 21: 5
All Things New

Jerry Kvasnicka, Wired for Love
Notice that these iconic words at the end of the New Testament of the Bible do not call for all new things. No, they are a compelling invitation to make all existing things new. And what does that require of us? Obviously, an attitude of newness in ourselves that we automatically convey to anything we are working with or otherwise confronting in the course of a day.
Of course, making something new doesn’t mean that we are actually changing the shape or appearance of the object or person. We are simply investing the substance with greater energy and Life on an invisible level. It carries greater vibration and frequency emanating from the Light that we intrinsically are. One spiritual leader described it as “seeing with radiant vision.” Anything or anyone we see receives our Radiance.
Many of us inevitably work with the same things and people every day, i.e. our lives are filled with routine. This is especially true of my work as Sunrise Ranch postmaster and administration building custodian. But if we are really coming from the creative power of Love at our core, even routine is made new. “Anyone bored these days is not paying attention” comes from a magazine article I once read. Anyone paying attention to the Light that they inherently are cannot be bored. There is never a dull moment!
This is how the whole world is made new. It is essence of our spiritual work. World transformation is simply achieved by investing everything that comes to us in the course of a day with the newness of Love, Light and Life that flows naturally from the Transcendent Reality of Being that forms the essence of who I am and who you are. So may we simply LET IT BE!
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
