Spend a weekend with renowned yoga educator and fiber artist Mary Ann Gebhardt, who will facilitate this weekend exploring presence–being present with your craft, with nature, and with yourself.
As the mountains stand quietly in the distance and the needles click gently in your hands, we hope you find the kind of stillness that nourishes your soul.
We will cap our weekend back in Longmont for a private yarn dyeing workshop with Jennifer Miller, owner of Theodora’s Pearls yarn.
Mary Ann Gebhardt has studied yoga and meditation for over 40 years. She is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance E-500 hour and a Chopra Certified Instructor. She runs workshops on mindful practices such as knitting meditations and sound meditations using Tibetan singing bowls.
Mary Ann will facilitate this retreat and will present sessions which will include morning gratitude, gentle movement, heartful creativity, meditation, and mindful journaling with Mary Ann’s knitting meditation 40-day journal that each participant will receive a complementary copy.
Jennifer Miller will present a session on color and yarn dyeing to cap off our weekend on Sunday afternoon in the Longmont Yarn Shoppe. Participants will have the opportunity to dye two skeins of yarn! Jennifer, a local yarn dyer from Longmont, Colorado, finds her inspiration from her surroundings, observing layers of colors in nature and their surprising combinations.
She strives to express beauty, joy and harmony through color — in new and unexpected ways, providing a wonderful starting point for a transformative creative adventure!
This retreat is your invitation to slow down, breathe deep, and rediscover the joy of making—with yarn in hand and stillness in heart. Learn more here.
