This Week's Quotation:
You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.
~ Rumi
You Are the Answer

Terri McCartney, Soul Care Facilitator
There comes a moment when the path no longer leads away from you—but directly into the fire of who you are.
This is that moment.
Your being is no longer a question to resolve, perfect, or prove. It is the answer. The sacred flame of your existence is not asking to be hidden—it is asking to be lived, fiercely and tenderly, here and now.
You are not meant to bypass your humanness. You are here to inhabit it. All of it. The holy and the messy. The broken and the brilliant. The diseased and the healing. All of it belongs, because you are the love and power of the eternal self, embodied in time.
This journey isn’t easy. Spiritual embodiment rarely is. It demands devotion—not to an ideal of perfection, but to truth. To Presence. To the courage it takes to meet your own shadow and say, “You too are welcome. Come into the light.”
If the fire feels hot, stay with it. Don’t run. This burning is sacred. It is not here to destroy you. It is here to forge you—to alchemize the layers of illusion so that the totality of your “I Am” can shine without distortion.
In this time of transition, let yourself be remade. Let the ashes of the old self fertilize the soil of your becoming. And let your light—imperfect, holy, fully human—rise to meet this world, not from the edges, but from the center.
You are not becoming divine. You are remembering that you already are.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
Once again you hit it right on, Terri. Our spiritual work is simply a matter of remembering who we are (a Being of Love, Light and Life) and bringing that Reality into the world of form that we center.
So well said Terri. And I am so grateful to have had you in my life. I do not know the details of your present situation. I just know that I have valued and loved our connection in the past. I would hope that we can maintain some space in our lives for this connection. Burn brightly, my friend! In gratitude and love. Beckie
