This Week’s Quotation:
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever… The Lord is on my side; I will not fear… The Lord is my strength and song… This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it… Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Psalm 118
You Are as God Created You
There are elements of consistency found in all religions and spiritual teachings. Here is one of them: Each and every one of us is as God created us—a uniquely individuated expression of the loving Source that animates all that is. Light and joy and peace abide eternally in each of us.
A Course in Miracles teaches that God did not create a meaningless world and what God did not create is only in the mind that believes it is separated from God’s mind. Remembering this beautiful truth leads to a simple but profound shift in the mind’s orientation and readily accesses its ability to see as God sees. Over time, that reorientation establishes new neural pathways in the brain that support happy, healthy and thriving because those pathways align with the ultimate truth that you are as God created you.
May we all remember we are as God created us and may we see as clearly as God sees—see the love and light even where it appears not to be—for that seeing will bless all that is. Liberation is a collaborative venture—we are all needed. Let’s each do our part to bring heaven to this world—to our lives, to our leaders, to our families, to our relationships, to our finances, to every facet of our existence. Let heaven be the decision we make as we open our eyes to each new sunrise and rejoice in each new day!
As Albert Einstein advised, There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. When we live aligned with miracles, Divinity knows no order of difficulty working through us. Welcome the light of Holiness and Truth to light up your mind, for miracles are seen in the light. You are the Light, exactly as God created you.
Mindful Explorations:
Do you believe that you experience the effects of your thoughts? Do you think that others are impacted by the quality of your thoughts? Sit for five minutes considering thoughts like: I am as God created me. I am peaceful, as God created me. I am compassionate, as God created me. I am loving, as God created me. I am merciful, as God created me. I am joy, as God created me.
