The Power of Divine Imagination

Neale invites us to exercise our powers of imagination in such a beautiful way! Children have active and rich imaginations, and even as a young child I could sense with my imagination that there was something not quite right about the world I was living in. So much conflict among nations, communities and families, so much human suffering.

I resolved at the age of twelve to dedicate my life to do whatever I could to create a better state for humanity, perhaps something described in the Bible as “the Garden of Eden.” Somewhat later I was introduced to another way of describing it: “the Motherland of Humanity,” a time when human beings lived together in peace and harmony, when “the sons and daughters of God sang together for joy.”

But how do we bring humanity back to this pristine, original state of oneness, abundance and joy? How do we transform vision into reality? How do we make our imagination work for us? I think first by realizing that is not idle imagination. The message coming to us from the depths and heights of our being is that the so-called imaginary state is actually the real state and the current state of division, dysfunction and disintegration is an unreal state created by human beings out of alignment with the creative process of life.

So let us bring intense focus and substance to our imagination, living as though what we imagine is true, for indeed it is! Yes, the Garden State of oneness and abundance is not currently in physical form on earth, but the more we charge our imagination and bring forth the spiritual values of the true state in all that we speak, say and do, we spread it into the consciousness of humanity and prepare the way for vision to become reality. So may it be in your life and mine!
