This Week's Quotation:
We’re all faced with great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. These are the challenges and problems in our lives, which feel like obstacles─but are actually here to help us evolve as eternal souls.

Love's Architects

Terri McCartney, Soul Care Facilitator
I find it empowering to know myself as Love’s architect, contributing my unique light to support the evolution of all life on this planet. It’s a responsibility I have humbly accepted, knowing how challenging it can sometimes be to fulfill that function.
I recognize that the challenges humanity is confronting result from our need to clear all the dividing beliefs and paradigms. None of us is separate, yet we all get snagged in that illusion from time to time since our body quite distinctly experiences itself as solitary!
Division often surfaces in very subtle ways, making it challenging to become aware and remember that we are creators and life is happening through us, not to us, presenting us with opportunities to evolve beyond old patterns of being. All we need is to become aware when we have fallen prey to the illusion and use our spiritual tools to quickly restore our attunement with the truth of all being.
When I become aware that an illusion of separation has seduced me, I use mantras and breathwork to break the spell and re-anchor my light. Such practices support me in remembering that in Divine Reality, challenges and limitations don’t exist. All I need to do to reconnect is to become aware of and anchor into the transcendent that is rich with possibility, unconditional love, and acceptance.
Whatever tools we choose to support us in navigating our life experiences as Love’s architects, may we be gentle and kind to ourselves and others when fear and forgetting get the upper hand. I am Holy. You are Holy. Through our Holiness, our light shines brilliantly and radiates a love that is available to all without concern for results.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
Thank you Terri. I really love the naming as “Love’s Architect” Since my main career was an architectural drafter I really resonate with this idea. I had the joy of participating in an idea coming into form through me. Yes there are structural issues to be considered and unexpected obstacles which sometimes require a complete shift in what is needed to fulfill the original design. I had to always have an awareness that adaptation was possible on my part.
I love how you work with the truth that life is happening through us and not to us. We can clear all dividing beliefs recognizing that the illusion of separateness’ spell can be broken with a return to rest in our Divine Source. We can return to the way we were/are originally designed. It can be as simple as it is to take a deep breath and be still. Love flows in and out again.
Thank you, Cori! I appreciate that you took the time to reply and share your experience that illuminates all the facets of the architectural process. Beautiful. Thanks so much.
How true, Terri, that the greatest challenges in our lives often provide the greatest opportunities for personal growth and for extending radiant blessings to others who may be experiencing similar challenges. As you indicate, the most important step we can take in all of this is to “anchor into the transcendent.”
