This Week’s Quotation:
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks.
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Love is a Verb
What is love if not expressed as continual action, continual choice, and continual devotion? For example, to rejoice is to express love. Additionally, an attitude of gratitude invites the fountain of love to flow through us. And anything that cultivates our direct line to heaven is a loving prayer.
Above all, spirit is eager to express through us with all the sparkle and splendor we see from the stars that fill the night sky. What better way to welcome each new day than with appreciation that we know ourselves as a vessel through which the miracle of life is working its wonders, channeling through us its blessings to the world?
In oneness, we live in and express love. There is so much joy to experience when we tap into our Creator’s serendipitous blessings. Every day provides an opportunity to be a diverse, distinct entity while also fully everything—each individuated I Am a uniquely radiant expression of the love that animates all that is.
Yes! Rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks. You are love expressing in this world.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world’s sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
