Inner Peace

In my awareness of the escalation of war mentality and the fear it generates in our world, I remind myself that the same peace that Jesus embodied also fills my mind, body, and emotions. In the silence of prayer, I attune with our Creator and receive inner strength, faith, and peace. When we go within to pray, Spirit merges with our spirit, and there is the peace of attunement.
It is the way of attunement that fills us with whatever we need to meet the demands of the moment. The way of attunement is the way of being one with the way of life’s unfoldment, just as morning always follows the night and spring arrives after winter.
The universe is ever-growing and expanding. When we are in attunement with the way of things, we are not grasping or clinging to our idea of best outcomes. Instead, all of the expanding energies of life flow through us and come into expression in a manner that embodies the oneness of all.
When we are in attunement, we know that every experience that comes to us is an opportunity for the Divine order to work through us. We are the vehicle for the Source of whatever is needed. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

There is a war raging in Ukraine right now, and I feel tremendous compassion for the people of that country. But the only way I can offer something of value to that situation or any other turbulence in the world is as I maintain a state of inner peace.
