This Week’s Quotation:
The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.
~Mark Twain
Hearts Awakening
This is a time of great change for humanity. Over the past several years we have faced some major, unexpected changes in our world—pandemics, wars, and financial issues. Much of the news tends to be bad news, and sometimes even scary.
The difference in what is happening now, compared to what we may have thought our future would be, is significant. This is the time for us to find out more clearly, why we are here, who we truly are, and how we want to be in the world as we create a new vision.
The joy now is that we are still able to embrace each other in love, demonstrate caring, and gain more clarity on how we want to show up in our world with the gifts we have to offer.
Quantum Physics supports the concept of “seeing the outcome from the beginning.” As we think about how we would prefer our life and world to be, we are actually in the process of creation, and we are opening our minds and hearts to the wondrousness that is available to us in this life. The miraculous shows up because we have made room for it.
As Mark Twain has reminded us, the two most important days in our lives are the day we are born, and the day we find out why. Giving our attention to what we truly want to create in our lives, will tell us more about why we are here, and what we can truly offer in service to our world.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world’s sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
The day you find out why you were born! What a great rebirth day that is. Many thanks, Katie. Love, Tom C.
“The miraculous shows up because we have made room for it.”
I love that, Katie, it is my experience that what we get is related to what we make room for in our lives. Thank you!
To me, the most important part of our spiritual work is help awaken human beings everywhere to the reason why we have incarnated on earth, the meaning of life, how we might serve the creative process of Universal Being, there are many ways of putting it. Your blog, Katie, is a beautiful call and incentive to awaken.
