Description
Lecture by Martin Exeter, June 14, 1970 . . .
Synopsis: What is symbolized must be experienced to be understood, and no amount of examination of symbols, as if they were things of themselves, will reveal the truth. One must move beyond symbols, become aware of oneself as a part of a whole, the whole of mankind; for man is properly a symbol of God, whose character contains the true design and already existing control. The widespread state of insanity present in the world can only change as we stop being subject to the environment and accept the true control. Any attempt to change the environment is an act of war. From the divine standpoint nothing can be imposed; we simply accept the design and control of being in every moment.
