This Week's Quotation:
"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world."
~ Mother Teresa
Penciling Love to the World

Jerry Kvasnicka, Wired for Love
Oh how God wants to send a love letter to the world! Yes, a Love letter, certainly not a letter of judgment or condemnation. Love is the only message God can send, for Love is God’s very nature. And the only way God can send that Love letter through his crowning creation is as you and I provide the pencil with our human forms and their capacities of body, mind and heart.
You don’t have to be professional writer to send this Love letter that Mother Teresa refers to. We send it simply by making sure that all of our thoughts, words and actions are sourced in God.
Well now, wait a minute! Are we referring to some God up there or out there in the universe or perhaps enclosed in a religious belief system? How do we connect with this God? No, God is not separate from us. God is the very essence, the Truth of who we are, the Angelic Reality at our core.
So how easy it is to send this Love letter, just be who I AM and who YOU ARE! Just let the innate Truth of Love that we are govern our expression, penciling out integrity, nobility, generosity, honesty, stability, harmony and all of the other qualities of Divine character. This connects us with the Love Source in others and inspires them to do the same.
Yes, on occasion we may need to sharpen our pencils with times of meditation, deep breathing or other techniques, but eventually sending out this Love letter should be as easy and natural as breathing in Love and breathing out Blessing in every moment of our living.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
Thank you Jerry – many blessings, Katie
Great reading and spirit here, Jerry. Big thanks. yes, let me be a pencil and utensil for God’s purposes. What a great visual to be writing a love letter on God’s behalf to the world. Thank you for this image and more importantly for the inspiration to all of us who read this not just to see a creative word picture but to BE that instrument in action. Love thanks to you and to both Mother God and Mother Teresa. Blessings from Hawaii, Tom C.
