God Alone is Enough

I write this as Hurricane Ian devastates Florida. There are many events taking place in our world equally tragic. It’s not uncommon for anxiousness, agitation, or helplessness to arise when we feel as if we have no control over what’s impacting our immediate environment and the people closest to us. An indomitable faith that God alone is enough may be the only thing that brings ease as we navigate the chaos.
Yet, a resolute faith can be tough to maintain as it’s tested over and over by challenging times. Faith can be worn down by the gravitational pull on our deeply engrained, unenlightened habits. We can lose our certainty that all is in divine order, especially in situations of enormous trauma, pain, and/or heartache.
We all need tools that support us in remaining strong and faithful to abiding truths. I turn to this prayer from St. Teresa of Avila to support me in remaining strong in my faith and to restore it when I falter. Then the light that radiates from the remembering that God alone is enough circulates through every cell in my being, restoring peace and ease. May it support you as well.

Thank you so much,Terri💕 For me..when times get tougher, my Faith gets stronger because I know that guidance from our Divine Creator IS the way (the only way) forward. May we all watch carefully for the signs of that guidance, and trust completely in those. We are never alone.
Yes, God alone is enough. Not some separate, distant God but God that is as close as breathing, God at the very core of my being, the God that I am here to represent on earth and bring into human form.
