On Saturday, September 12, at 3 p.m., there will be a free special screening of the acclaimed 2026 HBO documentary film The Welcome Table in the Mountain View Room at Sunrise Ranch. 

The Welcome Table is an HBO documentary written and directed by Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Josh Fox.

It explores the massive human displacement caused by the global climate crisis across six continents. The film contrasts geopolitical walls and exclusion with a symbolic 1,000-foot communal dinner table in New Orleans, where climate refugees and survivors share their stories through food, music, and connection.
