There is something in you that has never forgotten.

Underneath the roles you’ve learned to play, the ways you’ve learned to be small or acceptable or strong enough — underneath all of it — there is a woman who knows herself through her body, her relationships with other women, her connection to the land, and her own living spirit.

That knowing was not lost by accident. Patriarchy and colonization systematically severed us from it — from our bodies, from each other, from the earth beneath our feet. What we are reclaiming is not new. It is original.
