Sunrise Ranch Newsletter June 2012

The month of May has flown by at Sunrise Ranch! Life is bursting out all over, thanks to several gentle rains that nourished the earth, and the people!
Along with many visitors, we hosted eleven events in May. Brian Luke Seaward, who is dedicated to honoring the earth, presented Adventures in a Beautiful World: The Earth Songs Journal. Brian Luke uses his beautiful pictures from nature in an open-eyed healing meditation with cancer patients with remarkable results; we enjoyed sharing the healing power, joy and natural rhythms of nature through Brian Luke’s presentation.
Spirit Island
We welcomed our friends from Mondo Zen for a week-long facilitator retreat. This dedicated group of 50 people were committed to doing their inner work, while bringing a reverent and unified presence. Come back soon!
Our Imaginative Journaling workshop, held last month on the 19th, uses a different format every time! This was a day-long “deep exploratory journey” into possibility and the creative process. The exercises went beyond writing and “released the creative genius” and helped to “visualize the letting-go solutions.” One participant said the workshop assisted them to “transition into the next phase of my life more confidently.”

June is off to a great start with Alan Cohen and his Metaphysics and Miracles retreat. “Align your life with higher wisdom beyond appearances.” “Explore worlds beyond limits; walk with spiritual confidence.” Alan is a Hay House author of 22 inspirational books and CDs, a regular contributor to The New York Times, has a weekly radio show, plus is a keynote speaker and seminar leader. He conducts Life Mastery Trainings around the world and is a faculty member of Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. Welcome to Sunrise, Alan.
The next Day of Attunement is this Saturday, June 2, from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. with David Karchere and Jane Anetrini. This Sunday, June 3, is the Camp Sunrise Children’s Benefit & Very Vivacious Variety Show, with a garden tour and silent auction to raise funds for scholarships. The next Healer’s Jamboree will be Sunday, June 17, from 4 – 7 p.m. Please contact Denye Robbins at 970-679-4200 for more information.
Sunrise Ranch Community Day
We look forward to welcoming you whenever you might come to Sunrise, to attend a program, come for a personal retreat, come to a Sunday service, attend a concert (coming soon!) or buy some grassfed beef. For those of you further afield, we are delighted to connect with you and share our activities through this newsletter.
Warmly,
Denye, Susan, Shareen and Oren

Healers’ Jamboree ~ Sharing Circle – June 17th, 2012 4 – 7PM
Also: July 22
Are You a Holistic Provider or Do You Have a Desire to Learn More About the Healing Arts?
This night is for you! Bring your loving presence, your lightness of heart and your healing modality to share. If you are new to the healing community and feeling your spirit being called in this direction, we invite you to come learn more and enjoy the experience of our circle of sharing during the monthly Healers’ Jam!
This is to create a supportive community by assisting one another:
- By taking care of ourselves and being better able to take care of our clients
- Educating those interested in the healing arts who may not be practitioners, and helping them to connect with practitioners and upcoming workshops
- Creating a network for cross-referring clients
- Creating new friendships
- Having FUN!
We have had many different types of practitioners join us since we began hosting the Healers’ Jams in January, including attunement, body massage, sound therapy, Access Consciousness™/Access Bars, Life Divine, chiropractic, Reiki, scalp massage, shakuhachi flute meditation, Egyptian healing rods, holistic nutrition, dancing and body movement (this was a lot of fun!), life coach, spiritual brain integration/negative program release, dowsing, energy healer, clairvoyant, empowering children, nurses, caretakers, yoga, biofeedback and reflexology.
We are looking to have some fun stations set up for the next couple of months and we are welcoming your ideas…here are a few that are in the works—creativity station for inspiring the artist within, 20-minute presentation sessions, dancing, holistic nutrition, cooking for well-being.
Bring your business cards and upcoming workshop flyers, as this is a great opportunity to network!
This is a free event…to share your experience and talent and a favorite dish for the potluck.
If you would like to learn more about our events, please contact Robby Robbins at 303-598-6268.
