Will I look to others relying on them to give me what I need
Placing my value outside with every thought, word and deed
Or do I change the direction of my focus and alter my course
To realize that heaven is the home where I will find my source
There’s a bit of heaven living quietly inside of every single thing
That lets the joy of love sing and the sound of true freedom ring
Simply waiting to be realized within all the forms that I’m seeing
It can also be found in every cell, molecule and fiber of my being
Existing in truth as manifest reality, present in the here and now
Inspiring those who dare to look deeply and also know how
It’s not something that you can see but something that you feel
And just because I can’t prove it doesn’t mean that it’s not real
It lives forever within my mind, my heart, my body and soul
Delivering great and grand gifts of love as the blessings unfold
This substance being born from and existing as the divine
Is given freely unto me once I claim it and own it as mine
There is a oneness produced when I know this to be true
Greater than any other outer experience that I ever knew
This true oneness with God is something I can only find inside
And resting there within heaven is where I have decided to abide

Gary Goodhue is an author, actor, poet and spiritual aspirant. Gary has been exploring universal success principles, personal development and spiritual concepts for most of his life. He has studied at the School of Metaphysics, as well as teaching classes and serving as branch director for one of their sixteen school centers. He was also involved with the Community of Light and is currently living at Sunrise Ranch, headquarters of the Emissaries of Divine Light. He is involved in their Full Self Emergence Program and serves in multiple capacities on the ranch and in the community. He works within different departments and also has started participating in the EDL ministry program, sharing spiritual truth and reciting original works of poetry, as well as writing blog articles for the website. Gary is looking forward to deepening his relationship with the Emissaries and serving in greater capacities as the spirit of love expresses through him into larger levels of manifestation and experience.
