The Slow Down series of events at Sunrise Ranch connects individuals and leading-edge organizations in Northern Colorado. The network is grounded in a passion for hands-on learning in the fields of creative expression, holistic food production, and practical spirituality. Sunrise Ranch produces grass-fed beef and seasonal vegetables, and involves local producers and chefs in each event to create extraordinary meals to enrich your experience.
Through its diverse offering of arts workshops, Slow Down and Live will create a collective current of creativity ripe for artistic expression – an ideal setting for those looking to awaken or reawaken their artist within.

CARVING STONE FETISHES
Working with the guidance of our personal totem, we will explore the connection between creative expression and our individual spirit journey to bring forth and imbue stone with the spirit of our totem, creating a personal ceremonial and sculptural item. We will do this using simple hand tools, beautiful Alabaster stone, and the guidance of Jerry Gehringer and Bob Wing, who bring years of artistic and spiritual experience to the task.
PAPER ART
Keith Anderson started working with paper as an art form in 1988, recreating paper into a living canvas through a casting and hardening process that he has perfected and made his own.
PASTELS
Dave Holman studied the methods of Classical Realism and now paints full time, specializing in portraits and landscapes
WATERCOLORS
Peter Hunter has been a professional watercolor painter of portraits and landscapes for over 25 years. He studied at the Leo Marchutz School of Painting and Drawing in Provence, France and the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland.
