Our goal at Camp Sunrise is to give children a glimpse of a different way of living, one that includes sustainability, joy and gratitude.

Some activities will be : Hiking, Camp fire / Star gazing, Farming, Arts & Crafts

Lots of games to include: Team-building activities, baseball, talent show, etc.

Through these and other experiences, campers can bond with each other and learn about the natural world. We will be camping in a beautiful field located on the premises, with access to an indoor facility in case of inclement weather. Wholesome, nutritious meals provided.

Where We Are

We are located outside Loveland in the foothills, in a beautiful conference center and community called Sunrise Ranch. This magical place for children has been around since 1945. It is nestled in a valley between the rim rocks and Green Ridge. Facilities for children include: Swimming pool, Baseball field, Basketball court and Beautiful outdoor spaces with many creative and spectacular possibilities.

Application Details

This is a no-cost program that you can only be a part of by receiving a scholarship.

We have created this opportunity as a service to our greater community so that any child age 8 – 10 can apply to attend the camp. To apply, the potential camper will need to request and submit a completed application (with parent signature) and create a piece of art. This can be a painting, a sculpture, a poem or story in which the child tells us why he or she wants to come to camp. When the campers have been selected he or she will receive a list of what they will need for the duration of the camp (sleeping bag etc.). Campers who are accepted will be required to participate in at least one of the fundraising activities, one of which will be a car wash. Application Deadline: June 26th
